About Em Reishus
I'm a programmer, data scientist, and algorithmic artist with a particular interest in game development. I graduated with honors from the University of Chicago with a degree in Statistics in 2016, and have been working as a quality assurance analyst and game programmer since. I have experience with a number of programming languages including C#, C, Javascript, Java, and Python as well as relevant software such as Unity, Visual Studio, and several Adobe applications. In my free time I pursue game development, digital art, and other programming tasks. was selected by Microsoft as a Game Changer through its Women in Gaming contest to attend the Game Developers Conference in March 2016; I was invited back to the Women in Gaming luncheon in 2017. My most recent work has been at Jackbox Games in Chicago as a contract programmer. I'm available for freelance and longer term hire.
